I'm also interested in curriculum development, teaching English as a foreign language as opposed to a second language, the benefits of teaching English in English over teaching English in a student's native language, the appropriate English grammar points for each age group or each English level and the different types of criteria that helps teachers identify the appropriate level for an individual student. Systems like the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) are particularly interesting to me.
