Please join us for a Distinguished Lecture by Prof. Marnie Holborow, Associate Faculty at Dublin City University! The title of the lecture is “A Nation of Entrepreneurs? Neoliberal Language and Austerity in Post-Crash Ireland.” The event is sponsored by the Department of Applied Linguistics.

We are very excited to host Prof. Holborow, whose influential work has been crucial to our understanding of the politics of language and of the critique of neoliberal discourses. Among many other important publications, she is the author of the recently released “Language and Neoliberalism” (Routledge 2015).

For more event information and RSVP please see here.

For disability-related accommodations, including dietary accommodations, please visit www.ada.umb.edu two weeks prior to the event.

NOTE: we aim to post a video recording of this lecture for anyone online who cannot attend :)
