The Office of Career Services and Internships is partnering with Amazon Alexa for two tech talks next week on Tuesday, September 11th 12:00 – 2:00 pm and Wednesday, September 12th from 3:00 – 5:00pm. Please help us get the word out to students.
The Amazon Alexa AI team will be hosting a tech talk providing students with an introduction to the linguistics and science behind their library of Alexa devices. The team will also showcase a crowdsourcing skill they are developing called "Cleo" which enables Alexa to gather high-quality language data, furthering Amazon's efforts to launch Alexa in new languages around the world. An open Q&A with the Alexa team and members of Amazon's local recruiting team will follow the talk. The team will be happy to answer any questions about Alexa’s technology, Amazon's culture, and internship/career opportunities with Amazon.
UMass Boston undergraduate and graduate students interested in careers at Amazon and students interested in learning more about Amazon Alexa technology are encouraged to attend!
